The versatile control system features both COOK and TEMP modes, while SmartScan™ enhancement automatically detects compatible cookware to help optimize performance. A built-in touch-sensitive control panel integrated into the glass ceramic surface provides intuitive operation and a clean, modern appearance.

Different from induction cooktops with built-in temperature sensors positioned beneath the glass cooking surface, the SR-658RT’s temperature probe continuously monitors the temperature of the food itself. The cooktop automatically adjusts power output as needed to maintain the selected temperature with greater precision.
